Dental Surgeon Experience Affects Your Procedure Cost

by Andrew Mueller, DMD, MD | Dec 9, 2020

Kim Caldwell: Hi, I’m here today with Dr. Andrew Mueller, an oral surgeon from the Doctors Implants. Our topic today is to talk about full arch dental implants. How does the experience of the doctor change the price point of these options?

Dr. Mueller: So I actually think the experience the doctor can can drive the price down. As you do this procedure a lot, when you’re doing it every day or you know multiple times a week. You have a lot of protocols and systems in place. Often a lot of the resources, the lab, and things like that are done kind of all within that Center and that significantly lowers the cost. When you’re doing this procedure once a month or a couple times a month or even sometimes just a few times a year, that really drives up the cost of this.

Kim Caldwell: Thanks for your time today. I’m sure that our audience will be able to learn a lot from it and make some great decisions about moving for with with dental implants.

Dr. Mueller: You’re welcome.
