MEET DR. ANDREW MUELLER
Dr. Andrew R Mueller is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dual trained in both dentistry and medicine. Originally from Southern Illinois, Dr. Mueller received his dental degree with honors from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. His medical degree was obtained from the prestigious UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.
Following medical school, he completed an internship in General Surgery, offering a solid foundation to manage the most medically complex patients. Dr. Mueller received extensive anesthesia training and completed his surgical residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital, which is internationally known as one of the premier training programs in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
When it comes to dental implants, experience matters. Long term success with dental implants strongly correlates to precise implant placement, surgical planning, and prosthesis design. Dr. Mueller places approximately 2000 dental implants each year ranking him among the leading oral surgeons in the United States. Patients with challenging or previously failed cases have travelled from across the country to see Dr. Mueller.
MEET DR. DANIELLE LARIVEY
Dr. Danielle Larivey is the chief cosmetic dentist and custom smile artist for The Marquis Centers. She focuses her practice on what she loves: working alongside patients to restore function and design a beautiful, confident smile unique for each individual.
Dr. Larivey’s educational history has a theme: finishing at the top and always striving to be the best. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology. The University of Texas Health Science Center in the heart of San Antonio, is where Dr. Larivey graduated dental school at the top of her class, magna cum laude with honors in research. After completing dental school, she completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Larivey’s vision is the same as the Marquis Centers: to offer hope to patients who previously could only be offered dentures; providing them with the opportunity to eat a normal diet without pain or embarrassment and laugh and smile freely again.
Dr. Larivey was born in San Antonio and has made Texas her permanent home. She recently married a dentist in the San Antonio area and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family as well as traveling.
MEET DR. PATRICK WATERS
Dr. Patrick Waters specializes in the full spectrum of oral, implant, and maxillofacial surgery. The care Dr. Patrick Waters provides is unique, in that he has both medical and dental degrees.
Dr. Waters first received his dental degree at University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. He then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his 6 years of residency at Parkland & UT Southwestern, considered to be one of the world’s most elite training programs in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. His extensive training experience in reconstructive maxillofacial surgery allows him to offer highly advanced procedures, which means better patient outcomes and shorter healing times.
His clinical interests include dentoalveolar and orthognathic surgery, dental implants and bone grafting, trauma/reconstruction. Dr. Patrick Waters and his staff strive to make the patient visit as pleasant as possible in their comfortable, technologically advanced environment. Integrity and superior healthcare is paramount.
In addition to his professional pursuits, he enjoys spending time with family, personal fitness, cooking, golf, travel and outdoor activities during his leisure time.
MEET DR. ALISA RATZLAFF
Dr. Ratzlaff is a native of Wichita Falls, Texas. She attended Rider High School where she was a very active student body member. Later, she attended the University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, graduating with Distinction, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Next, Dr. Ratzlaff attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dental school achievements include the Clinical Excellence Award for General Dentistry and the Myron Sigler Cosmetic Award.
Dr. Ratzlaff has a special interest in creating beautiful smiles. Giving patients their best option for a healthy long lasting smile is a true passion. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Association. Dr. Ratzlaff has spent much of her time away from the office getting credentials in various areas of restorative dentistry. Dr. Ratzlaff has specifically received credentials in comprehensive orthodontics, comprehensive interceptive orthodontics, full mouth restorative rehabilitation, gum grafting, implant dentistry, and bone grafting. She is very excited to offer patients The Marquis Procedure and design the perfect smile for their specific individual needs, and be on their journey with them throughout the whole process.
Dr. Ratzlaff relocated to the Oklahoma City area a year ago, and is excited to adventure with her 3 children: Hutch, Haddie, and Collins. Her hobbies include running, all things fitness, painting, spending time with friends and family, and going to all her children’s events.
